Our group had a fantastic time relaxing and bird watching along the Susquehanna River. The accommodations were clean and offered a cozy atmosphere. Breakfast was abundant, making it easy to start our days off right. The staff were genuinely welcoming and made us feel at home during our trip!

The Elk Forge Bed And Breakfast provided a unique and charming experience with its historical ambiance, featuring beautiful stained glass windows and repurposed artwork that complemented the over 200-year-old architecture. The Baltimore Room I stayed in was exceptionally comfortable, far exceeding standard hotel offerings, allowing for a restful night's sleep essential for my work travel. The owners, Seth and Brittany, were deeply involved, sharing intriguing stories about the property that enhanced my stay.

The breakfast selection was average and could benefit from more variety.

i had a wonderful stay, enjoying the quiet and peaceful atmosphere while being just a short drive from beautiful parks like milburn orchards and the historic gilpin's falls covered bridge, perfect for leisurely walks and explorations.

However, the bed was quite firm for my preference, which may not be ideal for everyone. Additionally, while the decor was beautiful, more in-room amenities would have enhanced the experience.

The main building impresses right from the start, boasting picturesque grounds that are well-kept and inviting. The sheets and towels felt luxurious, definitely something worth mentioning as a highlight during the stay.

Parking can be confusing, especially with a lack of clear signage indicating where to check in or where to go from the parking area. The breakfast options were underwhelming, feeling more like a continental spread typical of a budget hotel rather than the hearty fare expected at a bed and breakfast. Furthermore, some rooms have unconventional decor and themes that clash rather than create a cohesive atmosphere, making it feel disjointed at times. The air conditioning in certain rooms, like the one with the spa bath, struggled to keep the space cool due to its odd placement in the bathroom window.

We had an amazing time with friends enjoying bird watching near the Susquehanna River. The atmosphere was relaxing, and we loved having breakfast in the large conservatory overlooking the gardens. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the variety of early morning activities was a nice touch. Highly recommend checking out the local spots too!

We fell in love with the beautiful old floors. Our Queen Room with Spa Bath had a fabulous jacuzzi tub that made our evening perfect! The breakfast was good-scrambled eggs with cheese, potatoes, and a warm waffle with all the trimmings!
